ASSOC. PROF. TRAN THI GIANG HUONG – HEAD OF HPG SECRETARIAT
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Giang Huong, General Director of International Cooperation Department (ICD), Head of HPG Secretariat obtained the qualification of medical doctor specializing in pediatrics from Hanoi Medical University in Vietnam, and Master’s of Public Health from University of New South Wales, Australia. Until now, she has been working at the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Health for more than 20 years, with nearly 10 years being ICD General Director since she was appointed the title in October 2008. Besides that, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Giang Huong has held different positions at other institutions such as Deputy Director of Department of Health Policy and International Integration, Ha Noi School of Public Health, and Deputy Director of Department of Global Health, Ha Noi Medical University. Her expertise on medical issues as a doctor, along with her experiences of working in dynamic international development environment has contributed a great deal in leading the Health Partnership Group and in consulting the Ministry of Health to direct development cooperation activities of the health sector towards effectiveness.
MME. NGUYEN THI MINH CHAU – VICE HEAD OF HPG SECRETARIAT
Mme. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau is Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Health and Vice Head of HPG Secretariat. She has been working at the Ministry of Health since 1991 and three years later joined International Cooperation Department.
Her passion for HPG and initiatives has helped boosting the dynamics of HPG with various activities to be planned and carried out, thus bring the forum to the attention of broader and strategic audience.
MR. DO DANG AN – OFFICIAL IN CHARGE OF HPG ACTIVITIES
Mr. Do Dang An, who has worked for the Ministry of Health since 2009, is International Cooperation Department official in charge of HPG activities regarding technical issues and state management procedures.
Before getting a Master’s degree on Health Science from University of Tokyo, Japan in 2015, he was a graduate on Public Health from Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. With background knowledge on public health-related topics and global health policies, Mr. An is contributing actively on the work of HPG where policy dialogue is centered.
MS. PHAM THI NGAN – OFFICIAL IN CHARGE OF HPG ACTIVITIES
Ms. Pham Thi Ngan is Ministry of Health official in charge of HPG activities in terms of finance. She has been working for the International Cooperation Department since 2008 and also involved in HPG since then. Ms.
Ngan works closely with the World Health Organization and Project Management Unit to handle financial procedures and logistic preparation for HPG activities.
