HPG Meeting Quarter II/2015

In the framework of the annual activities of the Health Partnership Group (HPG), to strengthen the connection between the central and local formulation and implementation of health policy, meetings Group Partners 2016 provincial health was held in the town of Sa Pa, Lao Cai province on the theme of the day 02/08/2016: the model family doctors associated with the health system strengthening basis. Meeting by Dr. Tran Thi Giang Huong, Head of Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Health is responsible, along with the co-chairmanship of Mr. Dang Xuan Thanh, Deputy Chairman of Lao Cai and Mr. Lokky Wai, Representative Health Organization world in Vietnam. More than 130 representatives of domestic and international, as well as provincial representatives attended the meeting and make comments and share experiences during deployment model family doctors locally. A point that the meeting participants stressed that if applied correctly is principle-centered person-integrated and family doctors in the health system, the wards existing model family doctors will contribute effectively to the enhancement of the health facility.

In the afternoon, participants split into two groups to visit the health center Sa Pa, Health Center Ta Phin commune and district Hospital Sapa. This is more difficult communes and proportion of minority ethnic majority.
