Provincial HPG Meeting 2016 in Lao Cai
More than 130 national and international participants as well as provincial representatives have participated in the meeting and contributed and shared experiences of family medicine model development at local level. One point highlighted by participants in the meeting is that, if the principle of human-centered is obeyed, and family medicine is integrated into the existing local health system, it will be able to contribute effectively to strengthening the grassroots health system.
In the afternoon, the participants are divided into 2 groups to visit Sa Pả and Tả Phìn commune health stations and Sa Pa general district hospital. These are two disadvantaged communes with the majority of ethnic minority people.
